Aragaki Mutsumi is an Okinawan music arranger and songwriter with a unique interpretation of Okinawan music and ideas. She is the sixth Japanese artist and the first Okinawan solo artist to be selected as an official selection of WOMEX2021(Portugual), one of the world's lagest world music events.

Her first solo album "Another World of Okinawan Music" was selected by BBC music magazine(UK) as "the best world music recordings released in 2021 so far" by BBC music magazine(UK) and "23 albums of traditional Japanese pop today" by Music Magazine(Japan) in its June 2024 issue.
