THREE1989 (pronounced “Three”) is a trio consisting of Shohey (vocals), Datch (DJ), and Shimo (keyboards), all born in 1989.

Drawing on roots in soul, funk, disco, and R&B, they create “New Nostalgic” dance music.

Following Shohey’s appearance on the Netflix show *TERRACE HOUSE: OPENING NEW DOORS*, the group expanded its listener base both domestically and internationally, performing at live shows and festivals in Taiwan, South Korea, Spain, China, and other countries.

 

In 2026, marking their 10th anniversary, they will enter a new phase.

 

Together with their listeners and creators from around the world, they are pursuing new ways to deliver music that connects with the world, transcending genres, languages, and borders.
