Born in the United States in 2005 and raised in Japan from the age of two, Rol3ert officially launched his career as a solo artist in January 2025. His music establishes a distinct identity by blending primary English lyrics—designed to connect with a global audience—with Japanese phrasing and J-pop-inspired melodies.

 

Cover videos posted to his Instagram went viral worldwide, with standout clips surpassing 4 million views. His original tracks have also been featured on curated playlists across numerous countries, earning him a strong fanbase and social media following not only in Japan, but also across South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, the United States, Brazil, and beyond. Within just six months of starting his solo activity, he performed at major Japanese festivals including FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL ’25 and SWEET LOVE SHOWER 2025.

 

In 2026, his single "savior" was selected for Spotify's "New Music Friday" in 22 countries. He was also awarded the Radio Special Award at the MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2026—a category voted on by radio professionals nationwide for domestic artists expected to break out following their recognition. His momentum has rapidly accelerated through additional key milestones, including being named to Spotify's "RADAR: Early Noise 2026," selling out his solo headlining show at Shibuya WWW X, being selected as Japan’s representative for Rolling Stone's "Future of Music," and earning a spot in "SPACE SHOWER NEW FORCE."

 

Continuing his rise, Rol3ert is slated to perform at major summer festivals including LuckyFes 2026, SUMMER SONIC 2026 TOKYO, SUMMER SONIC 2026 OSAKA, and SWEET LOVE SHOWER 2026. He is widely recognized as a major new talent emerging from Japan to take on the global music scene.
