Singaporean artist Shye crafts a hazy blend of dream-pop, shoegaze and soft alternative rock. Entirely self-taught as a songwriter, producer and engineer, she has built an intimate DIY world shaped by shimmering guitars, atmospheric textures and emotionally raw lyricism. Drawing inspiration from Cocteau Twins, The Smashing Pumpkins and The Stone Roses, her music balances towering walls of sound with airy melodies and quiet vulnerability.

 

What began as a bedroom project has taken Shye to stages across Asia and the United States. She has opened for The Jesus and Mary Chain, Clairo, Men I Trust, Daniel Caesar and Wisp, while releasing a growing catalogue of genre-blurring work that continues to resonate with listeners around the world.
