Born to a guitarist father and a dancer mother, MAINAMIND began taking various dance lessons at the age of three, eventually earning a Fujima-ryu title in traditional Japanese dance. After starting her career in a group in 2012 and suspending those activities in April 2022, she launched her solo project MAINAMIND the following month.

Rooted in ’90s Black music, R&B, and soul, her style is defined by a unique rhythm that fuses Japanese and Western influences. With powerful vocals, skillful dance, and soulful, expressive performances, she captivates audiences everywhere. She is a true self-producer, handling songwriting, track-making, live direction, costumes, and staging herself, always channeling her central theme of “love” to the world.

In 2025, she took the spotlight as the lead performer of the official program “Physical Twin Symphony” at Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai, closing the opening ceremony and delivering 22 performances throughout the event.
