Moher

Moher is a psychedelic folk band based on Jeju Island, South Korea, led by singer-songwriter e_so, a Jeju native, and Minkyu Jo, whose musical journey began as a busker in Ireland. Together, they weave an intricate soundscape where the Irish bouzouki and acoustic guitar intertwine with harmonically contrasting vocals, evoking imagery of waves crashing against rugged cliffs—a poetic confluence of two distant yet kindred islands.

Their story began with a chance encounter in Thailand in 2023, where they conceived the band's name, Moher—inspired by the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland.

In 2024, Moher released their debut album, Kaleidoscope, which won the Best Folk Album of 2024 at the 22nd the Korean Music Awards.
