ODUCHU: Healing Soundscapes from Tuva

ODUCHU is a Russian musical duo from the Republic of Tuva, featuring vocalist Mengi and guitarist Chingis. Their name translates to "healer" in Tuvan, embodying their mission: delivering profound emotional restoration through pure vocals and contemporary-traditional fusion arrangements.Musically rooted in Tuvan heritage, ODUCHU innovatively integrates khoomei (throat singing), folk melodies, modern folk, electronica, and rock. Their minimalist yet heartfelt narratives explore homeland, nature, ancestral wisdom, and spiritual journeys.As pioneers of Tuvan music's new generation, ODUCHU revitalizes cultural legacy through original composition and global vision. They've performed widely across Tuva and Russia, including an acclaimed 2025 debut China tour. That year also saw the release of their album Nostalgia under international label Stallion Era. Sung entirely in Tuvan, this work serves as a profound tribute to their roots, establishing ODUCHU as a distinct and refreshing voice in world music.
